- Professor Soniat of Catholic University conducted an interview on our task force to include in her study on hoarding task forces
- Chelsea Senior Services invited our task force to present at their city conference on November 12th. Teri will present.
- Students from UCLA conducted an interview to find out more about what a city task force does
- Family members have called for further information and resources
Our next meeting is Thursday, November 13th at 9 a.m. The agenda is as follows: Introductions, Discuss our upcoming January workshop (January 13th 10-11:15)- parenting never ends- finalize presenters and details, round table on current hoarding situations. Great idea for a blog. I run a company that does estate liquidations and personal property sales. We are always running into situations involving hoarding and clearing out a hoarders residence. The most recent situation we had involved clearing out 65 tons of "stuff" from a hoarders residence. (for comparison, NYC cleared out 134 tons from the Collyer brothers house in the 1940's)
